The ‘Handbook for Parish Pastoral Councils in the Diocese of Kilmore 2016-2020’ states that “the Parish Pastoral Council is concerned with mission, with people and with building up the faith, hope and love that cements them into a real, living and caring Christian communion”.
Our current Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) was formed in May 2022 and its elected members are representative of the three church areas in the parish.

The Pastoral Council convenes at regular intervals throughout the year. Its aim is to further the mission of Christ and his Church in the community. Fr Peter McKiernan presides over the meetings and the elected officers are:
